About the Company

FilmMates Entertainment (FME) a privately held corporation was established in 2001 to finance and distribute independent films. The company has released two theatrical feature films AMERICAN REUNION (2004) AND LIVING LIFE (2005). In 2005 it acquired the rights to the World Wide Multimedia, Camden Equities and Hollywood International Finance library comprised of 39 film and television titles.

In 2006 (FME) secured a multi-year distribution deal with Universal Vivendi Visual Entertainment (Vivendi Entertainment) and established a home video label with the release of RENT CONTROL. Entertainment Capital Corporation (ECC) acquired 51% controlling interest in FilmMates Entertainment in a stock for stock transaction. FME regained controlling interest from (ECC) in 2007.
